You can contact FSBO -- "For Sale By Owner" -- sellers. They'd be working without using brokers. But I would caution you, if no agent is involved on either side, to be sure to have your own real estate lawyer checking everything you do.
You can also call on ads placed by seller's brokers. Those agents would be working in the seller's best interests, not yours. They'd be paid by the seller, if that's what's worrying you. But you'd get a lot of service from them, because in order to get the place sold they'd be offering you some guidance and assistance in the process. |
