If I found a house (For sale buy owner) on my own, and the realtor had nothing to do with setting up a showing or even finding the house for me, do I owe agent a commission? I did not sign anything saying this person was my agent and she only sent me one email with home listings of which I did not like any. I did not see any of the homes but found this one as I was driving by... Please advise me. |

If you did not specifically hire that broker as your agent, and did not sign a promise to pay commission, I don't see why you'd owe any commission if you bought that house. |
