Firing the Agent

Can I fire my real estate agent and get out of the contract?

You can always withdraw an agency, so yes, you can fire your agent.  You may be asked to reimburse the company for its expenses (advertising, for example.)  Or you may not.
But are you going to sell to someone the agent showed the property to?--that's another matter and in that case you'd better consult your own attorney.
