Gross vs. Net Square Footage. I'm looking at an apartment in NYC that a professional floorplan sketch measures at 1700 interior square feet and 1000 exterior square feet.
From the gross figure, how can I arrive at the net Square footage, which I believe is the true sellable figure? Thanks. |

I'm trying to picture that exterior square footage -- is it balcony, deck, patio? At any rate, it sounds as if you'd be buying 1,700 square footage of heated living space. |
