We are selling our first house & moving to Arizona. How do you buy the new home or time the move immediately after the closing/sale of current home? I figure we would have to pack Uhaul on Monday, close here on a Tuesday, drive to Phoenix on Wednesday, close on new house Thursday when our wire transfer of profit should be in bank (they said no more than 48hrs) & move in immediately. Does it ever go this smoothly? |

My guess is that it doesn't often go that smoothly. I've been in the same house now for many more years than I want to tell you, so I have no experience. But closings do get postponed, some last-minute title problem comes up, checks are sometimes held up...I'm sure it does go smoothly many times, but I just can't answer your question. Maybe others will write in and tell us their experiences. |
