Craig's List

My broker doesn't want me to advertise property on Craigslist, saying it's illegal. Is it? I though as long as I follow our advertising rules, it was ok.

You're the seller, it's your property, and you're in charge.  Your broker may not want you to advertise on your own, but it's certainly not illegal.  I don't know of any reason why you can't do whatever advertising you want, and that should include Craig's list.  The only limitation there is that you must be careful not to violate Fair Housing regulations.  And it'd be only fair to mention in your ad that the property is listed with a broker.
