Contract After Listing Expires

If a contract became binding after a listing has expired is it binding, and if it is binding can the listing agent change the commission that was state on mls?

The fact that the listing had expired wouldn't have anything to do with whether a sales contract was valid.  If it meets all the requirements for a binding contract, it is.
As to whether a commission would be due, that depends on the provisions of that listing contract.  If the buyer was shown the place during the listing period, in some cases a commission is due on a sale within a certain period after expiration.  The contract itself would tell.  But either way, that has nothing to do with the validity of the contract between buyer and seller.
