Contract After Listing Expires |
| |
If a contract became binding after a listing has expired is it binding, and if it is binding can the listing agent change the commission that was state on mls? |

The fact that the listing had expired wouldn't have anything to do with whether a sales contract was valid. If it meets all the requirements for a binding contract, it is. As to whether a commission would be due, that depends on the provisions of that listing contract. If the buyer was shown the place during the listing period, in some cases a commission is due on a sale within a certain period after expiration. The contract itself would tell. But either way, that has nothing to do with the validity of the contract between buyer and seller. |
