Co-borrower's Rights

I'm looking at going into a loan as the "Co-borrower" What does this mean in terms of my legal claim to the property when we decide to sell?

Unless you're also going in as a co-owner (named in the deed) you have no claim to the proceeds when the place is sold.  All you have is personal liability for the whole mortgage debt.
