Buying the Old Homestead
  I would like to buy my old house back from when i was a kid in like 5 years. I am going to save up and offer them more than what it is worth and also offer to set them up with a real estate agent to look for a new house. Do you think this is a reasonable goal?
 
  Why not?  It just might work.  And if it doesn't, you'll be stuck with a nice bunch of saved money.
