Buying a Foreclosure

Buying a foreclosure and having the Title insurance done, do I need the services of and attorney at the moment of the closing? Or to read the final document?

It's usually safe to follow the customs of the area, and I know that in many places lawyers are not routinely involved in simple residential transactions.  Buying a foreclosure (even with title insurance) is not really a simple transaction.  No matter where it happened and what the local procedures were, I'd have my own lawyer guiding me through the whole thing.
