Is it legal to place a second kitchen unit in a single family home if no intention of renting? Is it legal to place a wet bar as a second kitchen unit (with no stove or gas line) in new york state? |

The answer would depend on local zoning requirements and building codes. I'd suggest phoning your town or city hall's building bureau (anonymously) and inquiring. My guess is that it would be okay, but don't take my word for it. |
