Bill of Sale

Is it common for the Bill of sale to be much lower than the price on the closing statement and contract price.

A bill of sale is used for personal property, not real estate.  I wonder if the one you're referring to covers furniture and/or appliances that were included in the sale?  If so, it would of course be much less than what was paid for the real estate itself.
Let me know if that's it -- I'm interested.
