Big in a Small Town |

Should I buy a gorgeous house in a working middle class town or a small house in an affluent town. I am 28 and this is my first house, I want to make the best investment possible. |

Strictly from a financial point of view, the least expensive house in the neighborhood is a better investment than the fanciest place in town. At 28 you may not be thinking in these terms, but quality of schools is also a factor if you're thinking of a long-term residence. |
