Bank Owns Property |
| |
 |
I made an offer on a bank owned home 5 weeks ago. As far as I've been told the bank is trying to decide who needs to pay for septic to be hooked in to the Township sewer before we'll know if they've accepted the offer. That's fine BUT I can hardly get my agent to return any calls, emails, etc. All I ask for is to keep in touch with me and let me know what's going on. I have a suspision that they are waiting to see if we withdraw the offer so she can buy it and flip it - She noted the day we saw the house how much profit you could make on the house that she and her husband flip homes. What can I do to get the customer service I feel I deserve? I'm not even sure she's telling the truth about the septic system. |

Unless the agent you're dealing with owns the company, she is under the supervision of a managing broker, and that would be a good person to discuss your concerns with. I do know that it can take a maddening amount of time to settle with bank-owned property, but you are indeed entitled to be kept informed. |
