Attorney Review Period

What is attorney review period and is it in all realestate contracts?

An attorney review clause would give the buyer or seller the right to take an accepted, signed purchase contract to his or her lawyer for advice.  The attorney could then approve or disapprove the contract, and if it were disapproved, it would no longer be binding.  In some areas such a clause may be a legally required part of any real estate contract.  In other places it might be in a contract only if one party asked for it.
