Already Saw the House

I looked at a home I was interested in with a realtor in the Maryland-DC area, and was thinking about putting in an offer. When I started looking into rebates and discounts, etc. I found a plan that some realtors offer to their prospective buyers of cash back of a percentage of the property bought. I brought this up to the realtor I looked at the house with and he informed me that he does not offer anything like that, and now that I have looked at the house with him, because of presumed buyers agency laws, no other realtor can sell me any house we looked at together. We signed no paperwork, and had agreed upon nothing. Is this true?

Another broker can sell you the house if they're ready to dispute the commission with your original agent.  You just have to find one willing to take that on.
