All-cash-Purchase

Should there be any penalties charged for someone who wishes to pay cash for the total price of a house? I need to know rather quickly because I think I am being given the bums rush-thanks E P White

Who's trying to charge you a penalty?  A seller is usually very happy to get an all-cash offer, with no uncertainty about financing, and sometimes even agrees to a price concession because of it.  But you will have some expenses at the closing anyhow -- you want a title search and title insurance, for instance, to make sure you're not buying into any legal problems.
I'll be interested to hear, if you want to write again, just what the details are.
