Should there be any penalties charged for someone who wishes to pay cash for the total price of a house? I need to know rather quickly because I think I am being given the bums rush-thanks E P White |

Who's trying to charge you a penalty? A seller is usually very happy to get an all-cash offer, with no uncertainty about financing, and sometimes even agrees to a price concession because of it. But you will have some expenses at the closing anyhow -- you want a title search and title insurance, for instance, to make sure you're not buying into any legal problems.
