Dear Edith,
My husband walked away from me and our toddler in Feb 2008. We own a townhouse in Edgewood, Maryland and I have been carrying the mortgage solely since he left while the house has just sat on the market with no interest. I have now drained every asset I have to pay the mortgage and am still no closer to selling the house. If you have any advice for me, any ideas as to what I can do from here, I would really appreciate the help. I'm feeling pretty lost and disheartened and want my next step to be an educated one. I appreciate any advice that you can give me.
Very truly yours,
Samantha
I don't know the value of the house (obviously it's worth less than you've been asking), I don't know how much the mortgage is, I don't know if you're living there. Afraid all I can offer you is sympathy. Anything will sell if the price is right.
