Hi Edith, I am in the process of obtaining my real estate license in Maryland. I have taken and passed the general portion of my PSI exam. I am scheduled to take the MD law portion on 8/2/07. I am in a bind and I have to relocate to Cleveland, Ohio due to personal matters. The question I have for you is what are the requirements for state to state transfers (in my case MD to OH)? Will I be required to take the class over again?

I would be very much surprised if Ohio will give you credit for the course you took in Maryland. Real estate is quite local and you will probably find many things, from land descriptions to law of agency, different this time around. Good luck to you. |
