Realtor-buyer Charged Commission

Two years ago I sold my townhouse in Orange county, California through my realtor. My realtor decided that he will buy my house. He got 4% commission and also he got the other 4% commission that should go to the buyers realtor. Do we have the right to ask him about the other 4% commission back for the reason that no buyer's realtor go involved in the transactions?

The broker who charges a commission when acting as a buyer can be accused of practicing illegal undisclosed dual agency -- charging you to act on your behalf while looking out for his own best interests. I don't know if you can do anything after two years have passed, but it's worth having a talk with the best real estate lawyer you can find. Let me know what happens; I'm interested.
