I want to get started in real estate in Jersey City/New Jersey. What's the best school for the license exam in Northern New Jersey/Jersey City?
And what's the best book to read to get acquainted with the real estate business?

The best book is of course "Essentials of New Jersey Real Estate" by Edith Lank and Joan m. Sobeck. Tenth edition just out, lists for $46.95 -- if you'd like a copy, send me your address and a check for $30.
As for real estate schools, I know Weichert Realtors runs a very good one, and I've heard good things about American as well. Or you can call the Jersey City Realtor association and ask for advice from their education department. |
