Changed Her Mind |
| |
 |
I have had my home up for a couple of months. My contract is up with my realtor 12/6/07. I have changed my mind and decided not to sell. Can I be pernalized, charged, anything? |

Just let your listing contract run out, and I don't see why you'd owe the agent anything. I haven't seen your contract, but it would be unusual if there were any penalty just because the house didn't sell. If, on the other hand, you want to cancel the agency you gave that Realtor right now, you have the right to do so, but sometimes you may be asked to reimburse the company for their out-of-pocket expenses like advertising. |
