AGent for Self

Can a real estate agent be his or her own agent?

Also...can a real estate agent have thier spouse as a client?

Of course agents can buy and sell their own real estate. Many agents do.
And of course agents can act for their spouses in buying and selling.
A couple of cautions, though:
The agent must always make it known, preferably in writing, that he or she is licensed and acting in his or her own best interest.  And it is not proper to accept a commission, because in that situation, the agent is no longer putting another client's interests first, no longer acting as someone else's agent, loyal only to himself or herself.
