Agent a Disappointment x |
| |
 |
I am currently working with a buyer’s agent whose performance is totally unacceptable. Although he had glowing recommendations, he is constantly late for showings, often unavailable, takes us to properties that do not fit our criteria, and does not return messages for a few days. Unfortunately, while we were under a buyers contract agreement with him, we asked him to show us a house that we now are considering putting an offer on. Our buyers contract has since run out. Is it possible to sign a buyers agreement with another more reputable and honest agent to continue through the process with on a house that was shown to us by the previous agent? I am concerned that he will want/may be entitled a commission. Help! Your advise is greatly appreciated…thanks! |

The answer to your question lies in the contract you signed with that buyer's agent. You'll have to read it carefully, or ask the next broker you want to work with to look it over and give you advice. Sorry I can't be of help here. |
